<p>Air Force went on a 19-2 run in the first half to take control and led 45-31 at the break.</p>
<p>Frank Toohey and Zach Kocur added 14 points apiece for Air Force (1-0). Graham was 7 of 11 from the field and grabbed five rebounds. The Falcons made 28 of 50 field-goal attempts and 24 of 46 free throws.</p>
<p>The Falcons, who returned 13 letterman and all five starters, have won 10 straight season openers at home dating to the 1991-92 season.</p>
<p>Chris Crook scored 18 points for McPherson (4-1) and Grant Raleigh added 12. The Bulldogs hit 12 of 34 3-pointers (35.3 percent) but went to the free-throw line 25 fewer times than the Falcons.</p>
