The Lions hit four straight 3s to open the second half and led by as many as 50 points.

Brumant scored 10 points and grabbed a career-high 19 rebounds for Columbia (1-4), who outrebounded the Bears 54-26 and outscored them 26-12 in the paint. Maka Ellis added a season-high 15 points and Tai Bibbs and Peter Barba distributed five assists apiece.
