(STATS) – Bucknell announced a challenging schedule for coach Dave Cecchini’s first season Monday.

The Bison will kick off the Cecchini era on Aug. 31 at Temple and play five times at home as part of an 11-game schedule.

The nonconference schedule includes home games against Villanova (Sept. 14) and 2018 Ivy League champion Princeton (Sept. 28) and a trip to FCS playoff qualifier Towson (Oct. 19).

The Patriot League schedule includes an Oct. 12 matchup at defending champ Colgate.

Bucknell finished 1-10 last season. Cecchini coached the last five years at Valparaiso.
