(STATS) – Northern Colorado will open the 2019 season with a game at San Jose State.
The Aug. 29 matchup – the first between the two programs – completes Northern Colorado’s nonconference schedule, which also includes a Sept. 7 game at Washington State.
The Bears have an 11-42-3 all-time record against opponents from the Mountain West Conference. Last year, the Big Sky Conference program finished 6-5 under coach Earnest Collins III.
