Razorbacks to play in-state against UAPB

(STATS) – Arkansas will end a longstanding policy of not playing in-state opponents with 2021 and ’24 matchups against Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

The schools announced the games on Wednesday for Oct. 23, 2021 and Aug. 31, 2024 in Fayetteville. They’ve never met previously.

Arkansas last played an in-state opponent in 1944, beating Arkansas-Monticello (then-Arkansas A&M) 41-0.

UAPB is a Southwestern Athletic Conference member on the FCS level. The Razorbacks play on the FBS level in the Southeastern Conference.
