Valparaiso to host five in 2018 season

(STATS) – Valparaiso seeks to build on its first winning season in 14 years during an 11-game 2018 schedule that was announced Friday.

Valpo, which last year finished 6-5 overall and 5-3 in the Pioneer Football League under coach Dave Cecchini, will have an early bye and then open Sept. 8 at Duquesne.

The Crusaders will host five games at Brown Field – Truman State (Sept. 22) in non-league action and PFL opponents Davidson (Sept. 29), Butler (Oct. 13), Drake (Oct. 27) and Jacksonville (Nov. 10).
