FRISCO, Texas (AP) Tyler Seguin missed the last 11 games of the playoffs for the Dallas Stars with a strained left calf that was weakened by sitting out the final 10 games of the regular season because of a cut on his Achilles tendon.
The All-Star forward was limited to 16 minutes in Game 2 of a first-round series victory against Minnesota. He strained the calf in that game, his only appearance of the postseason, and missed all seven games of a second-round loss to St. Louis.
Seguin was second to captain Jamie Benn in scoring with 73 points (33 goals, 40 assists).
Forward Patrick Sharp separated a shoulder in the St. Louis series but didn’t miss any time. Two other forwards were injured: Antoine Roussel (strained abdomen) and Travis Moen (broken wrist).
