Chris Paul out for Los Angeles Clippers with sore groin

LOS ANGELES (AP) Chris Paul has been ruled out for the Los Angeles Clippers’ game against Houston due to a sore right groin.

The All-Star guard got hurt in the fourth quarter of Wednesday’s 112-108 loss at Golden State. Coach Doc Rivers says he expects Paul to be out one game.

Paul is averaging 17 points and 8.2 assists through five games this season.
