LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) Frank Bartley and Bryce Washington scored 19 points apiece and Louisiana-Lafayette cruised to a 94-60 victory over NAIA member Loyola of New Orleans on Wednesday night for its seventh straight win.
Bartley was 3 of 8 from the floor and made 12 of 13 free throws. Washington was 9-of-13 shooting and had a game-high nine rebounds. P.J. Hardy had 16 points and Jay Wright added 15 points and five assists. The Ragin’ Cajuns (7-2) shot 34 of 61 from the field for 56 percent and outrebounded the Wolf Pack 41-26.
Jalen Gray and Johnny Griffin Jr. each scored 16 points to lead Loyola, which had its six-game winning streak snapped.
The Ragin’ Cajuns had a double-digit lead midway through the first half and never trailed.
Louisiana-Lafayette, which is 5-0 at home, hosts Louisiana Tech on Saturday.
