MEAC – Florida A&M would clinch the automatic bid to the Air Force Reserve Celebration Bowl with a win over Howard
Missouri Valley – No. 1 North Dakota State would clinch the automatic bid to the FCS playoffs with a win over Youngstown State
Patriot – No. 12 Colgate would clinch the automatic bid to the FCS playoffs with a win over Fordham
Southern – No. 9 Wofford would clinch the automatic bid to the FCS playoffs with a win over Samford and losses by No. 22 ETSU to Mercer and Furman to Chattanooga
SWAC – Alcorn State would clinch the East Division bid to the SWAC Championship Game with losses by Alabama State to Texas Southern and Jackson State to Prairie View A&M
