Interim coach Jones seeks to lift Morgan State

(STATS) – Morgan State will play five times at home as part of an 11-game 2018 schedule under interim coach Ernest Jones.

The schedule, announced Monday, kicks off on Sept. 1 when Towson visits Hughes Stadium for the Battle for Greater Baltimore. Morgan State’s other home games will be against MEAC foes South Carolina State (Oct. 6, homecoming), Howard (Oct. 20), Bethune-Cookman (Nov. 3) and Delaware State (Nov. 10).

Among the road games is a Sept. 8 trip to Akron of the Mid-American Conference.

The Bears finished last season 1-10 with a 1-7 MEAC record.
