(STATS) – Nine of the 13 players selected from FCS schools in this week’s NFL Draft were members of the 2018 STATS All-America team.
Five were first-team All-Americans: Delaware free safety Nasir Adderley (Los Angeles Chargers, second-round pick), Western Illinois defensive tackle Khalen Saunders (Kansas City Chiefs, third), Southeast Missouri offensive guard Drew Forbes (Cleveland Browns, sixth), North Carolina A&T defensive end Darryl Johnson Jr. (Buffalo Bills, seventh) and James Madison cornerback Jimmy Moreland (Washington Redskins, seventh).
Four second-team All-Americans also call the call from a team: Alabama State offensive tackle Tytus Howard (Houston Texans, first), North Dakota State quarterback Easton Stick (Chargers, fifth), Elon offensive tackle Oli Udoh (Minnesota Vikings, sixth) and South Dakota State cornerback Jordan Brown (Cincinnati Bengals, seventh).
