Stick under microscope at NDSU pro day

(STATS) – Quarterback Easton Stick was the main attraction as seven-time FCS national champion North Dakota State held its annual pro day on Thursday.

Stick, who set the FCS quarterback record with 49 career wins, was one of 14 former Bison players, and 23 overall, evaluated by representatives of over 20 NFL teams. During the drills segment, Stick completed 49 of 60 passes with seven drops.

The 6-foot-1, 224-pounder is considered a late-round prospect for the April 25-27 NFL Draft. Since leading the Bison to a second straight FCS title in early January, he’s participated in the East-West Shrine Game and the NFL Combine.

Also competing on pro day were the Bison’s other top-rated prospects, running back Bruce Anderson and center Tanner Volson. Anderson clocked 4.58 seconds in the 40-yard dash.

Players from North Dakota and a few sub-Division I schools also participated in the pro day.
