Atlanta comes home 1 1/2 games behind Philadelphia in the NL East after a successful 5-2 road trip, capped by scoring three runs in the ninth inning Sunday before plating the go-ahead run in the 10th for a 4-3 victory at St. Louis. Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson is hitting .317 with a .973 OPS, four homers and nine RBIs and only four strikeouts in 41 at-bats during his current nine-game hitting streak. Atlanta has not faced Washington this season, after going 10-9 against the Nationals a season ago en route to the NL East championship.
