The Atlanta Braves have won a series in San Francisco for the first time since 2011 and look to complete a three-game sweep of the struggling Giants on Wednesday afternoon. Charlie Culberson belted a two-run homer on Tuesday as the Braves posted a 4-1 victory to improve to 5-1 on their seven-game road trip.
Atlanta’s lead in the National League East grew by 1 1/2 games on Tuesday as Philadelphia dropped both ends of its doubleheader against Washington to fall 6 1/2 behind.
