It will be a short turnaround for both clubs as Tampa Bay goes for its fourth straight series win in Wednesday afternoon’s rubber match of the three-game set.
Rookie first baseman Jake Bauers, who was 1-for-15 in his previous six games, delivered a tiebreaking two-run double to ignite a five-run 16th for the Rays, who had led 4-0 after two innings. Andriese pitched in the series opener against the Marlins, allowing one hit over two scoreless innings — a marked improvement after he was tagged for six runs and seven hits over his previous two appearances. He is holding left-handed hitters to a .176 average.
Urena, who has been sidelined with a shoulder impingement, will come off the disabled list to make his first start since giving up five runs over 5 2/3 innings in a loss at San Francisco on June 20.
