INDIANAPOLIS (AP) Monta Ellis had 24 points, six assists and six steals to help the Indiana Pacers beat the Miami Heat 96-83 on Friday night to end a three-game losing streak.
Ian Mahinmi scored 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for his second double-double of the season. Paul George, the NBA’s third-leading scorer, had 23 for Indiana.
Chris Bosh had 23 points and 10 rebounds and Dwyane Wade had 20 points, five rebounds and five assists for Miami, which dropped its third straight game. Gerald Green had 13 points off the bench.
The Pacers moved to 6-0 this season when holding an opponent under 90 points and won their ninth consecutive home game over Miami.
