Oddsmakers currently have the Eagles listed as 2½-point favorites versus the Texans, while the game’s total is sitting at 48½.

Arian Foster has run for 100-plus yards in four straight games for the first time in his career and has scored multiple TDs in three of those contests. DeAndre Hopkins has 11 catches for 203 yards over the last two games while Andre Johnson tied his season high with seven catches last week but still has not caught a ball for more than 26 yards all season. Ryan Fitzpatrick has not thrown for more than 289 yards in any game this year, but he could be due for a breakout performance against a Philadelphia defense that has only three interceptions – the second-lowest total in the NFL.

Houston was a 30-16 winner in its last match on the road against the Titans. They covered the -3.5-point spread as favorites, while the total score of 46 sent OVER bettors to the payout window.

Team record: 4-4 SU,5-3 ATS
Houston is 6-3 ATS in its last 9 games
Houston is 4-18 SU in its last 22 games
The total has gone OVER in 5 of Houston’s last 7 games
Houston is 3-8 ATS in its last 11 games at home

While Philadelphia’s issues on the offensive line are a built-in excuse, the fact of the matter is that Nick Foles, who ranks third in the NFL with nine interceptions, has to play better. Then there is the matter of LeSean McCoy, who led the NFL in yards from scrimmage in 2013 but has rushed for more than four yards per carry in only one game this season. One player who has certainly stepped up for Philadelphia is Jeremy Maclin, who caught 12 balls for a career-high 187 yards and two TDs against the Cardinals and has half of the team’s 12 receiving scores this season.

In their last action, Philadelphia was a 24-20 loser on the road against the Cardinals. They failed to cover the +1-point spread as underdogs, while the combined score (44) was profitable news for UNDER bettors.

Team record: 5-2 SU,5-2 ATS
Philadelphia is 5-2 ATS in its last 7 games
Philadelphia is 12-4 SU in its last 16 games
Philadelphia is 6-3 ATS in its last 9 games on the road
Philadelphia is 6-3 SU in its last 9 games on the road
