GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) Free agent cornerback Davon House is returning to the Green Bay Packers after agreeing to terms on a one-year deal.
General manager Brian Gutekunst announced the signing on Friday.
House was Green Bay’s fourth-round draft pick in 2011. He’s the second former Packers cornerback to return to the defense this offseason, joining Tramon Williams.
House started all 12 games he played last year in Green Bay, finishing fourth on the team with nine passes defended. A respected veteran in the locker room, House had shoulder and back injuries in 2017.
He played the previous two seasons in Jacksonville after a four-stint in Green Bay to start his NFL career.
The Packers may still be looking for help at cornerback in this year’s draft, which starts April 26.
