Rutgers cornerback Logan Ryan declared for the NFL draft on Monday.
Ryan, 6 foot and 190 pounds, had 94 tackles, four interceptions and 17 pass breakups this season.
“Logan embodies everything we look for when recruiting a potential student-athlete,” Rutgers coach Kyle Flood said in a statement. “He is a smart, tough, disciplined player with a tremendous work ethic and talent.
“He has represented our program in first-class fashion and we know he will continue to excel when playing on Sundays.”
Ryan is rated as the third-best cornerback and the 39th best player in the next NFL draft, according to ESPN’s Scouts Inc.
