(STATS) – Central Connecticut State will play a 12-game schedule, including five at home, under interim coach Ryan McCarthy this year.
The Blue Devils will open the season on Aug. 31 at Fordham and travel to Eastern Michigan on Sept. 21 for their fourth all-time matchup against an FBS opponent.
The home opener against Merrimack (Sept. 7) will not count in the Northeast Conference standings this year, but matchups at Arute Field against Bryant (Oct. 19), Long Island (Oct. 26), Saint Francis (Nov. 9) and Robert Morris (Nov. 16) are part of CCSU’s seven-game conference schedule.
The Blue Devils went 6-5 overall and 4-2 in the NEC last year. McCarthy, the offensive coordinator, is guiding the program after Pete Rossomando resigned to take a position at Rutgers.
