Yale to host six in 2019

(STATS) – Yale will open its 2019 schedule with a three-game homestand as it seeks to rebound from a subpar season.

The Bulldogs were Ivy League champions in 2017, but slumped to 5-5 overall and 3-4 in the league while they battled injuries last year.

The Yale Bowl will host visits by Holy Cross (Sept. 21), Cornell (Sept. 28) and Fordham (Oct. 5) to open the season. Fordham is coached by former Yale offensive coordinator Joe Conlin.

The Bulldogs also will face Penn (Oct. 26), Columbia (Nov. 2) and rival Harvard (Nov. 23) – in their 136th meeting – in New Haven, Connecticut.

A road matchup at Richmond (Oct. 19) will be a first between the programs. The Bulldogs also will play at Ivy League rivals Dartmouth (Oct. 12), Brown (Nov. 9) and Princeton (Nov. 16), the defending champion.
