Oddsmakers currently have the ATLANTA listed as -4 point favorites versus the CHICAGO, while the game’s total is sitting at 231.5.

The Atlanta Hawks have a shot at their first three-game winning streak in two seasons when they host the Chicago Bulls on Saturday. Kent Bazemore scored 32 points for the Hawks in Wednesday’s come-from-behind 111-104 win over Dallas in their home opener, which came three days after rookie and fellow guard Trae Young went for 35 in a rout at Cleveland.

Atlanta was 0-4 last season when presented with the opportunity to win a third straight game, but an energetic attack led by the backcourt has altered the outlook in the renovated State Farm Arena. “That was reminiscent of the playoff runs in ’14, ’15,” Bazemore told reporters of the vibe Wednesday night at home. “The energy was great.” The Bulls picked up their first win of the season at home against Charlotte on Wednesday but fell in a rematch Friday on the road. Zach LaVine scored at least 30 points in the first four games of the season before being held to 20 in the 135-106 loss to the Hornets.

TV: 7:30 p.m. ET, NBCS Chicago, FS Southeast (Atlanta)

ABOUT THE BULLS (1-4): Friday’s loss came in Chicago’s first game since since losing forward Bobby Portis to an MCL sprain that is expected to keep him out for at least four weeks. Portis joins Kris Dunn (knee), Lauri Markkanen (elbow) and Denzel Valentine (ankle) on an ever-growing list of key injuries for the Bulls, who are giving up an average of 121 points. Jabari Parker scored 19 points on Friday and is averaging 15.6 in 26 minutes per game on the season.

ABOUT THE HAWKS (2-2): Bazemore is shooting 52 percent from the floor and outshined Atlanta’s star rookie in Wednesday’s affair, but the veteran saw something in the way Young made the most of an otherwise off night. “That was some grown-man stuff right there,” Bazemore told the media of Young’s ability to score 12 of his 17 points in the fourth quarter as the Hawks completed a 26-point comeback. “I’m proud of him for hanging in there.” Taurean Prince added 24 points, eclipsing the 20-point mark for the third time in the first four games.

BUZZER BEATERS

1. Hawks SF Alex Poythress (knee) is expected to miss at least the next three games.

2. Bulls PG Cameron Payne is averaging 18 points while making 9-of-15 3-pointers over the last two games.

3. Chicago swept three meetings last season and averaged 121 points in two wins at Atlanta.

PREDICTION: Hawks 118, Bulls 108
