Philadelphia point guard Jrue Holiday was named as a reserve for the Eastern Conference All-Star team on Thursday. The youngest player in franchise history to earn an All-Star nod, the 22-year-old Holiday has averaged 20.7 points and 9.4 assists in his last 13 games. He told PhillyBurbs.com that the selection signifies what every players seeks: respect. “When you’re good at your craft and somebody respects that,” Holiday said. “That’s an awesome feeling. Everyone was saying I had a really good chance.”
