Browns’ Cameron ruled out with concussion

CLEVELAND — Jordan Cameron left Sunday’s game against Oakland with a concussion after taking a shot to the back of the head by Raiders safety Brandian Ross. He will not return.

Cameron dove over the middle for a 21-yard gain midway through the second quarter but absorbed contact from behind by Ross, who got an unnecessary roughness penalty on the play. Cameron was slow to get up and looked dazed from the JumboTron shot at FirstEnergy Field.

Cameron finishes the game with three catches for 40 yards. The Browns will miss his pass-catching ability after the running game gained only 17 yards on 12 carries by halftime.

Cameron battled a shoulder injury early in the year. He has 13 catches for 250 yards and one touchdown on the season.
