EATON, Ohio (AP) – An Indianapolis Colts running back has been cited on a marijuana possession charge in western Ohio.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says Ahmad (AH’-mahd) Bradshaw was stopped for a traffic violation on Interstate 70 this month. He was charged with a misdemeanor count of possession of a small amount of marijuana and with following too closely behind another vehicle in his Cadillac.
Bradshaw has a court appearance scheduled for Tuesday in Preble County. A deputy clerk says his citations are payable without a court appearance if he doesn’t contest them; she didn’t have attorney information.
The 28-year-old former New York Giants player’s productive 2014 Colts season was cut short by a fractured fibula. He had 725 total yards and eight touchdowns.
A message was left Tuesday for a Colts spokesman.
