Free agent DB LaRon Landry suspended 10 games

NEW YORK (AP) – Free agent safety LaRon Landry has been suspended for 10 games by the NFL for violating the performance-enhancing drug policy.

Landry, who was released by Indianapolis on Feb. 11, missed the first four games of 2014 with a previous league suspension for the same reason. He also was on the commissioner’s exempt list for one game last season.

The 30-year-old Landry joined the Colts as a free agent in 2013, getting a $24 million, four-year contract. He also has played for Washington for his first five pro seasons, and spent one season with the New York Jets.

LaRon’s brother Dawan also is a free agent and spent the last two years with the Jets, replacing his brother in their secondary.
