Packers’ 1st-round pick Randall adjusting

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) – First-round draft pick Damarious Randall is getting up to speed learning the Green Bay playbook.

Randall was very limited in rookie minicamp last month with a minor ankle injury. The Packers defensive back went through his second full offseason workout this week.

Randall played safety at Arizona State. But that was out of necessity in college.

Now, he’s studying up on the playbook while he gets used to playing cornerback again.

Randall feels that corner is his natural position. He said that it’s not that big of an adjustment because he played corner in junior college and high school.

The Packers need to replenish the defensive backfield after losing cornerbacks Tramon Williams and Davon House in free agency.
