NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) The Tennessee Titans have signed outside linebacker Yannik Cudjoe-Virgil from their practice squad and have waived wide receiver Rico Richardson.
The team announced the moves Saturday.
Cudjoe-Virgil joined the Titans in the spring as an undrafted free agent out of Maryland. He was injured in the Titans’ first preseason game and placed on injured reserve, with the player and team reaching an injury settlement. The Titans re-signed him to the practice squad two weeks ago.
The addition of Cudjoe-Virgil adds some depth to the Titans’ front seven as they deal with outside linebacker Derrick Morgan’s injury. Morgan didn’t practice the past two days because of an injured shoulder.
The Titans host the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.
