The Maple Leafs aim to continue their success in the Golden State on Thursday when they visit the San Jose Sharks, who have won four straight home games overall and five in a row when Toronto pays a visit.

ABOUT THE MAPLE LEAFS (12-6-0): While Toronto’s flashy forwards garner a significant portion of the headlines in hockey-mad Toronto, defenseman Morgan Rielly has been providing quite the offensive punch as well. The 24-year-old Rielly recorded his seventh multi-point performance of the season against the Kings to extend both his assist and point streaks to three and five games, respectively. “He’s an important piece of the puzzle for us. He continues to make strides in the right direction in order to be a premier defenseman in this league, so in order for us to contend, we’re going to need him to be at the top of his game,” Kadri said of Rielly.
